About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Liberway uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies, including local storage and session storage.

A cookie is a small piece of data stored by your browser. We also use A cookie is a small piece of data stored by your browser. We also use browser technologies such as local storage and session storage, which serve similar purposes.

Essential cookies and storage

These technologies are needed to provide features you request. They operate regardless of your analytics choice.

  • Supabase authentication cookies keep you signed in, refresh your authentication session, and help protect access to your account. Their names include the Supabase project reference and may be split into multiple cookies. Their duration follows the lifetime of your authentication session.
  • test_run_id remembers an anonymous course session so that progress and feedback remain connected as you move through the course. It expires after 30 days.
  • FAQ session storage remembers which landing-page FAQ items you opened. It is kept only for the current browser tab session and is not used to track you.
  • Cookie consent storage remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics so we can respect that choice until you change it.

Optional analytics

If you accept analytics, PostHog stores an identifier and related analytics information in cookies and local storage, normally under a name beginning with ph_. PostHog cookies may remain for up to 12 months and are refreshed when used; local storage remains until you withdraw consent or clear it in your browser.

We use this information to count page views and diagnose software exceptions. It may include the page visited, time of the visit, browser and device details, referral information, and technical error details. PostHog is configured to discard client IP data.

We do not use PostHog autocapture, session replay, heatmaps, surveys, feature flags, experiments, console-log capture, or web-vitals autocapture. These settings may change as the service develops; we will update this policy before using storage for a materially different purpose.

Third-party services

We use PostHog to provide analytics functionality. PostHog processes analytics data on our behalf in accordance with its privacy and security practices.

Your choices

PostHog analytics capture and analytics persistence are disabled unless you select “Accept analytics”. Selecting “Reject analytics” disables capture and removes PostHog analytics storage. Your choice does not affect essential cookies.

You can revisit your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You can also delete or block storage using your browser controls, although blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, course access, or progress continuity from working.
